Who publishes this site
FreeDevTemplates is an independent site at freedevtemplates.com. It is maintained by the editor who also publishes walkthroughs on YouTube as @codewithkaveesh. There is no separate newsroom. Pages are added and revised by that editor, then left online so they can be corrected when a reader reports a problem.
Write to freedevtemplates@gmail.com or use the contact form. A correction about a broken download, a wrong code sample, or a outdated step is read as part of keeping the library usable.
What we publish
The site has three kinds of pages, and they are not the same kind of work:
- Templates. Layouts and components you can preview and download. A template page should show what the file is, which technologies it uses, and how to get the source. Titles describe the layout. The download is the product.
- Interview answers. 169 questions written for this site. Each one opens with a sentence a candidate can say, then explains the idea, includes code where a snippet makes the answer concrete, and lists mistakes that usually lose the point. Answers are updated when a language or framework detail changes.
- Guides. Practical articles about publishing a page, choosing a tool, or selling a digital file. A guide should start with the decision or the steps, name the trade-off, and avoid income claims and invented statistics.
How a page gets published
Before a page stays in the public library, the editor checks that:
- A template file actually downloads, or the page explains where the source lives.
- An interview answer can be said out loud and the code, if any, matches the explanation.
- A guide tells the reader what to do next, and says when a tool is a poor fit.
- Affiliate links are disclosed on the page and on the affiliate disclosure.
Pages that only repeat another page, or that exist to hold an ad, are not the standard. If a topic needs a new explanation, it gets its own article. If it does not, it is not published.
Affiliate links
Some guides and the hosting comparison mention products that pay a commission if you sign up through a link on this site. Those links do not change the price you pay. The recommendation has to stand without the commission: the page should say what the product does, who it is for, and when you should pick something else. Advertising, if it is shown, is labeled by the ad network and is separate from the article.
Corrections
If a download fails, a code sample is wrong, or a step no longer matches the tool, email freedevtemplates@gmail.com with the page URL and what you expected. Factual mistakes are corrected on the page. The date on an interview answer changes when that answer is revised.
What we do not do
- We do not sell user accounts, and you do not need one to read or download.
- We do not invent reviews, download counts, or earnings.
- We do not copy another site's article and swap the product name.
- We do not publish a page whose only job is to send you to a different website.
